Our Story
Wanderland Society was born from a simple but powerful idea: land can heal, and community can sustain what systems often overlook.
What began alongside the growth of Wanderland Campground evolved into something deeper—a collective response to the needs we saw firsthand. Rural and nature-based spaces often lack access to consistent resources, emergency infrastructure, and inclusive programming. At the same time, many people are craving reconnection: to the land, to each other, and to purpose.
Wanderland Society exists to bridge those gaps.
We operate at the intersection of outdoor stewardship, community care, education, and access, creating programs and partnerships that support both people and the places they inhabit. From land-based experiences to emergency readiness, from creative education to community gatherings, our work is designed to leave places better than we found them—and people more connected than when they arrived.
